Individuality is where my influences come from. The art that I consume from music to films strive on originality, self-expression, and individuality. So much of art and media now is about reusing to gain a following/ attraction. People’s authenticity and the idea of human connection are what drive me. I want to bring emphasis on moments in everyone's life that get overlooked. In films, intimate scenes where we see the characters as actual humans, get lost within the bigger scenes.With my work, I hope to highlight settings or moments that might get looked over because they are deemed as unimportant but aren’t. Moments that are seen as just everyday life are what I love to show in my work. My goals for this class are to challenge myself especially as I have never taken a class like this before. I also hope to grow to learn and love this form of medium for my art
